Lontong & Such is a popular spot in Kelana Jaya for lontong lovers looking for a delicious fix after Hari Raya celebrations. If you’re craving some amazing lontong, this is the place to be. Don’t worry, Lontong & Such has got you covered with their breakfast options.
“The breakfast spot in your local area”
Before opening Lontong & Such, Azlan Aziz worked in the hotel industry and decided to switch careers from wearing formal attire to cooking in the kitchen. He was a big fan of Lontong and spent time perfecting the recipe for it. The gravy is rich and coconutty but not too heavy, so he serves the Lontong Power with Grilled Chicken, Sambal Sotong, Telur, and Paru. Customers are always satisfied with the delicious flavors.
However, staying true to its name, Lontong & Such offers a variety of dishes beyond just Lontong. Their menu includes Roti Jawa, Nasi Lemak, and The English Big Breakfast.
Every day, Azlan bakes his own bread using a recipe inspired by his mother’s, but he adds his own special touch to make it lighter and fluffier. One of the ways to enjoy his famous Roti is by trying the Roti Jawa Bertelur. This unique dish features buttered toast topped with a creamy omelette, sautéed mushrooms, cherry tomatoes, and baked beans. The combination of textures is exceptional, with a mix of crunchiness, softness, and fluffiness.
Next up is the traditional Big English Breakfast, which follows a similar idea as the Roti Jawa but with the addition of sausages by Azlan. You also have the option to choose between scrambled eggs, an omelette, or sunny side up eggs. And the best part? All of this is available for just RM8! Such a great deal, right?
For those with a big appetite, make sure to try the Nasi Lemak Power! It is the chef’s special recipe and is absolutely delicious. The rice is perfectly cooked, with just the right amount of richness, and pairs well with the flavorful sambal. In addition to the rice, the dish also includes grilled chicken, cow lung, and spicy squid sambal. The combination of all these dishes is spot on, leaving nothing to be desired.
